AC, Plumbing & Heating Services in Tempe, AZ

Iron Horse Plumbing & Air is a Tempe company. Our shop and trucks run out of 1917 E 5th St, so a call anywhere in Tempe is a short drive for us, which counts for a lot when your AC quits on a July afternoon.

A lot of Tempe was built in the 1960s and 70s. North Tempe and the streets around ASU are full of ranch homes with original ductwork, old galvanized or copper supply lines, and cast iron drains that have been in the ground for 50 years or more. In those homes we fix slab leaks, clear roots out of sewer lines, and work on AC systems pushing air through tired ducts. South Tempe, from the Lakes down to Warner Ranch, came later, and the calls there are more often about AC equipment that's getting old and water heaters near the end of their life.

Tempe has a lot of rentals, especially around campus. We work with owners and property managers as well as the tenants living there, and we'll coordinate access so the job gets done without a week of phone tag. The water here is hard, same as the rest of the Valley, and the scale it leaves behind wears out water heaters, faucets, and fixtures early. A water softener or whole-house filter slows that down.

Repair visits are a $120 diagnostic, and we waive it when you go ahead with the repair. Estimates on a new AC system or any other replacement are free. Either way, you see the price in writing before we start.
